Grassroots conducted a rapid assessment of the existing systems based on Postgresql and Ruby on Rails deployed on both Heroku and Amazon Web Services. The GRT team made an immediate recommendation to migrate front-end interfaces to AngularJS and to adapt existing Ruby on Rails applications to act as an API. Grassroots was able to quickly address capacity issues without interrupting ongoing revenue-generating applications.
